=guava's submission for the month of August; "My Favorite Accessory" - must contain a heart.
i chose to draw an eyepatch because i had to wear one for ages after i had some pretty major eye surgery a few years back. it was actually my least favorite accessory at the time. people kept staring at me and wondering, i guess, if i still had an eye under there and if not - how i lost it, haha.
people kept making pirate jokes. i felt like such a dork
then, after i was allowed to take it off (just as luck would have it) pirates of the carribean came out and eyepatches became all 'trendy'.
that's me. way ahead of my time.
... and no, my eyepatch didn't have a heart on it... but maybe if it did i would have felt way cooler
